CIH CONDUCTS TRAINING AND AWARENESS PROGRAMME IN NOKLAK DISTRICT

Central Institute of Horticulture, DAC & FW, Ministry of Agriculture& Farmers Welfare, GOI, Medziphema, in collaboration in association with Pathfinder, District Executive Force Mokokchung in association with Mokokchung Police Family Welfare, conducted training cum awareness programme on horticulture aspects during one day training programme on “Vegetable Cultivation, Food processing and Marketing” which was organized by on 23rd October 2020.

During the training programmes institute distributed improved varieties of onion seeds which are suitable for hilly region. The onion will be grown at farmers’ field as a part of demonstration programme as well as to promote onion cultivation in the region.
